Synopsis
I have 15 minutes to save my mother’s life….
15 minutes is all the Rewind Agency gives you in the past, but for Lara Crane it’s enough time to race through the city, find her mother, and stop her from being killed in a mugging that happened over ten years ago.
But that’s not how it happened. The story she’s been told all her life is a lie and when Lara takes a bullet meant for her mother, her future changes forever.
The love of her life acts like a stranger. Her simple life is replaced with a giant house, glamorous clothes and a new boyfriend.
Except someone knows her secret. And he will try to stop her at every turn as she races against the clock to unravel a dangerous conspiracy.
15 Minutes is an edgy high octane YA thriller that can be described as Back to the Future meets Inception where the people Lara trusts change in an instant. She is in a timeline she doesn't understand, and is about to make one fatal mistake as she faces an enemy so familiar, he’s family.

Review
I was always big fan of time travelling and stories about this topic. Really! And here we are - 15 Minutes is first part of Rewind Series by Jill Cooper. The main character Lara Crane can travel through time to the moment when her mother died. She grew up with her father and she has no chance to get to know her mommy. So Lara decides to save her mum. But you know, changing reality is not fun at all. After this little change everything changes. And not in such a good way... Lara has new life, new house, new boyfriend.. and her mum. Lara risked everything for her dream life. But was it really worth-doing it?
I quite like story line. I really do. I think that Jill Cooper's writing style is unique and also the story line. It was romantic, gripping and sad in right places. I enjoyed every single scene. There were few scenes in second part of book when I was confused because I didn't really know what the reality is and what is just Lara's imagination. I think that story was quite real and I had no problems with understanding.
I love main character, Lara. I understand her and I adored her relationship with parents. Even though she got big fancy house and clothes, she was "normal" as her old version. All characters were real and I had no problems to compare with them. I loved Lara's twin siblings in new reality - they were really cute! Thank you for creating these sweethearts, Jill Cooper!
I would recommend 15 Minutes to all readers who enjoy time travelling theme and gripping stories. I would compare 15 Minutes to Inception Movie, because sometimes it felt similar. And I liked that a lot! You should try this book - I think you could love it as much as I did.

Má to krásnu obálku a príbeh vyzerá dosť zaujímavo. Inception sa páčilo aj mne, len ak si nevedela rozlišovať medzi jej fantáziou a realitou, ja sa v tom asi úplne zamotám :D Už pri Mare Dyerovej som mala problém - ale pri tej knihe asi každý :D
